Cargo Trailer Remanufacturing Process

REMAN ROAD cargo trailer remanufacturing process targets the common weaknesses of fence and side wall trailers, including loose fences, deformed side walls and fatigued chassis.

Cargo semi trailers, including fence stake trailers and side wall trailers, are the most widely used equipment for bulk cargo, grain, general goods and pallet freight transportation. Cargo trailers focus on overall structural stability, cargo fence firmness, chassis load consistency and long-distance road durability.

REMAN ROAD standardized cargo trailer remanufacturing process is professionally tailored for fence and side wall trailers, eliminating loose fences, deformed side walls, fatigue frames and unstable chassis problems of old trailers, restoring the whole trailer to near-new cargo transportation performance.

Full Disassembly & Parts Classification

We fully disassemble the entire cargo trailer, including fence stakes, side wall panels, floor beams, main frame, axles, suspension, braking system and electrical components.

All deformed fence frames, cracked side plates, aging rubber parts and fatigued structural accessories are completely scrapped. Only qualified main beam and base frame structures are retained for deep repair and remanufacturing.

Full Sandblasting & Surface Cleaning

The whole chassis and steel structure are processed by professional sandblasting to completely remove old paint, rust, dirt and oxidation layers.

This step exposes hidden cracks, bending deformation and metal fatigue on the frame and floor beam, ensuring no structural defects are covered up for the next repair procedure.

Frame Straightening & Structural Reinforcement

We conduct non-destructive testing on the main I-beam and cross beam structure. All deformed chassis frames are precisely straightened. For long-term load-bearing fatigue areas and bending positions, we add reinforcing plates to enhance overall rigidity.

This process solves the common problems of chassis sinking and floor deformation of old cargo trailers after long-distance heavy haulage.

Cargo Frame & Side Structure Renewal

For fence stake trailers, we replace deformed stakes, damaged vertical columns and loose bottom hinge sets with brand-new standard parts, ensuring the fence is vertical, firm and free of shaking. For side wall trailers, worn side panels and bending wall frames are fully repaired or replaced.

All connecting bolts and locking mechanisms are updated to guarantee tight cargo fixation and prevent cargo shaking or falling during transportation.

Floor Restoration & Anti-Wear Upgrade

The trailer floor is fully inspected. Damaged floor steel plates and broken floor beams are repaired or replaced. The whole floor is leveled and reinforced to ensure uniform load-bearing capacity. The upgraded floor structure effectively adapts to frequent loading, unloading and heavy pallet cargo pressure.

Chassis Core Parts Complete Renewal

All key chassis components are replaced with brand-new heavy-duty accessories, including axles, mechanical suspension, balance arms, leaf springs, wear-resistant bushings and traction pins.

The renewed chassis system provides stable load-bearing performance, reducing tire wear and driving vibration during long-distance logistics transportation.

Brake & Electrical System Overhaul

We comprehensively upgrade the dual-circuit air brake system, including brake chambers, control valves, ABS system and brake pads, and complete strict air tightness testing.

All trailer wiring, marker lights, tail lights and reflective safety signs are fully updated to meet international road safety standards for long-haul cargo transportation.

Professional Anti-Corrosion Spraying

After overall polishing and rust removal, the trailer is sprayed with epoxy anti-rust primer and wear-resistant topcoat. The double-layer anti-corrosion treatment protects the frame, fence and side walls from oxidation, rainwater and dust erosion, greatly improving the service life of remanufactured cargo trailers in long-term road transportation scenarios.

Standard Assembly & Safety Debugging

We reinstall all fence structures, side walls, chassis components and safety accessories in strict accordance with factory standards. The fence locking and side wall opening/closing mechanisms are repeatedly debugged to ensure flexible operation and firm locking. The whole trailer is calibrated to ensure flat floor, vertical fence and stable overall structure.

Final Inspection & Delivery Test

Before delivery, we conduct full inspection on frame structure, fence firmness, side wall flatness, braking sensitivity and overall appearance. Only cargo trailers that pass all load and safety tests can be delivered, ensuring stable, safe and high-efficiency transportation performance for global logistics fleets.
